England!

Right, I am keeping my word and trying to get these posts up asap.  Just got off work... it was a bit slow at the cafe today because it is a bank holiday weekend for the "Queen's Jubilee," celebrating her being in power for 60 years!!  That's just crazy.  So I think a lot of families go away for a long weekend.

Anyway, Heather returned to France with Taylor to spend about a week and a half there.  I was working most days they were gone, and then Niall and I got to go to England for 4 days.  We stayed and spent most of our time in London, though we were able to get outside the city and see a few other places as well.  It was great being back there... although I think by the end of our 4 days we were both ready to be back home!  London makes Belfast seem like a quiet city.  Here's some of the highlights:

Walking around Wimbledon

Centre Court!

Niall took me to another West End show... Jersey Boys

I love my tea! :)

Olympic Countdown Clock

We got to see the Neolithic monument Stonehenge in Wiltshire... it was amazing!

Stonehenge is one of the most famous sites in the world

Visiting the city of Bath, in Southwest England

Yep, we went to an ice bar :D

So, there's a few photos for you.  Tomorrow I will do another post about our time with the folks and Heather.  Bye for now!
